§ Supply · Gujarat · West India

    Foam filters for Gujarat.

Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Gujarat — specified for what Gujarat's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.

    § 01 · Gujarat

    What this state breathes.

Gujarat has the widest spread of filtration duties of any Indian state, from Morbi's ceramic dust at one extreme to Jamnagar's refinery air at the other. It is also the state where we most often decline to recommend foam without more information, because the chemical belts around Ankleshwar and Vapi raise compatibility questions that a grade number cannot answer.

Climate. Arid in Kutch and Saurashtra, humid and salt-laden along a very long coastline, and hot almost everywhere. Effectively two environments, sometimes within one industrial estate.

    § 02 · Local industry

    Who buys foam here.

    • Ceramics, MorbiThe world's second-largest ceramic cluster. Clay and glaze dust is fine, abundant and abrasive — the hardest duty in the state.
    • Textiles, SuratSynthetic filament and processing. Lint plus chemical mist from dyeing.
    • Chemicals and petrochemicals, Ankleshwar, Vapi and JamnagarCompatibility is the first question here, not grade — some process chemistry attacks polyurethane directly.
    • Automotive and engineering, Sanand and RajkotPaint booths, foundry work and compressor intakes.

    § 03 · Specification

    What we'd recommend.

Morbi is the specification that defines this state: ceramic dust demands 20 PPI at the thickest section a housing will take, staged where possible, with service intervals measured in weeks. For the Ankleshwar and Vapi chemical belts the priority inverts — tell us the actual process fluid and vapour before we discuss grade, because the wrong chemistry means the element disintegrates into the plant it was protecting.

That is where we would start for ceramics, morbi, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.

    § 04 · How it is supplied

Getting it to Ahmedabad and Sanand.

Most Gujarat enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.

    § 05 · Gujarat questions

    Common questions.

Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Gujarat?

Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Gujarat including Ahmedabad and Sanand, Surat, Vadodara, Ankleshwar and Vapi, Jamnagar, Morbi, Rajkot and Mundra. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.

Which foam grade suits conditions in Gujarat?

Arid in Kutch and Saurashtra, humid and salt-laden along a very long coastline, and hot almost everywhere. Effectively two environments, sometimes within one industrial estate.

Is reticulated foam safe to use in the Ankleshwar or Vapi chemical belt?

It depends entirely on the chemistry, and this is one case where we will not give a general answer. Mineral oils and most water-based process air are well tolerated. Strong solvents, certain esters, and acids or alkalis at concentration attack polyurethane directly — and a filter that disintegrates puts debris into the plant it was installed to protect. Send the actual fluid or vapour, the temperature and the duty cycle, and we will give you a straight yes or no.
