Foam filters for Goa.
Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Goa — specified for what Goa's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.
What this state breathes.
Goa is small enough that effectively the entire state is coastal, which removes the usual inland-versus-coastal distinction and replaces it with a single hard constraint: everything here lives in humid, salt-carrying air. That makes the foam chemistry decision more consequential than the pore grade.
Climate. Among the most demanding environments in India for polyurethane: sustained high humidity, one of the heaviest monsoons in the country, and salt aerosol across the whole state given how narrow it is.
Who buys foam here.
- Pharmaceuticals, Verna and Kundaim — Formulation plants running pre-filter stages ahead of rated filtration.
- Food and beverage — Washdown environments, where a cleanable element is a genuine operating saving.
- Hospitality HVAC — A large hotel estate with continuous air handling in permanently humid, salt-laden air.
- Marine and port equipment — Compressor and engine intakes in the harshest air in the state.

What we'd recommend.
Chemistry first, grade second. A polyester foam in Goa will hydrolyse — go sticky and then crumble — so polyether is the only defensible choice, and we would refuse a polyester order here. Hotel and marine intakes want 20-30 PPI so salt-laden air can be rinsed out frequently without the element restricting between washes.
That is where we would start for pharmaceuticals, verna and kundaim, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.
Getting it to Verna Industrial Estate.
Most Goa enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.
We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.
Common questions.
Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Goa?
Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Goa including Verna Industrial Estate, Kundaim, Bicholim, Pilerne, Mapusa and Mormugao port area. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.
Which foam grade suits conditions in Goa?
Among the most demanding environments in India for polyurethane: sustained high humidity, one of the heaviest monsoons in the country, and salt aerosol across the whole state given how narrow it is.
Why does foam chemistry matter more in Goa than the PPI grade?
Because the failure mode is the material, not the filtration. Polyester polyurethane hydrolyses in sustained warm, damp conditions — the polymer literally reverts, going tacky and then crumbling — and Goa is warm and damp effectively year round. Polyether resists that and will still be flexible years later. Get the chemistry wrong and no pore grade saves you; get it right and grade selection becomes a normal airflow trade-off.
