§ Supply · Odisha · East India

    Foam filters for Odisha.

Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Odisha — specified for what Odisha's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.

    § 01 · Odisha

    What this state breathes.

Odisha's aluminium and steel belt produces some of the most abrasive airborne dust of any Indian state, and it does so in humid coastal air. That pairing matters: abrasion wears the foam strands themselves, so elements here reach end of life by mechanical degradation rather than simply by clogging.

Climate. Hot and humid with a heavy monsoon, a long cyclone-exposed coastline, and among the highest industrial particulate loads in eastern India.

    § 02 · Local industry

    Who buys foam here.

    • Steel, Rourkela and KalinganagarMill scale, coke and sinter dust — continuous and heavy.
    • Aluminium smelting, Angul and JharsugudaAlumina dust is extremely fine and abrasive, and one of the hardest duties we supply for.
    • Refining and port, ParadipCoastal humidity and salt on top of industrial particulate.
    • Mining and mineral processingVery high ambient dust across the western districts.

Industrial centres served: Rourkela · Angul · Jharsuguda · Paradip · Bhubaneswar · Kalinganagar · Dhenkanal.

    § 03 · Specification

    What we'd recommend.

Odisha asks for the coarsest, thickest specification we cut, and for polyether because of the coastal humidity — the combination of very heavy abrasive dust with moisture is unusually punishing. 20 PPI staged with a finer second layer, thick sections, and short service intervals. Alumina dust in particular will wear strands over time, so inspect by feel rather than assuming a wash restores the element.

That is where we would start for steel, rourkela and kalinganagar, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.

    § 04 · How it is supplied

    Getting it to Rourkela.

Most Odisha enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.

    § 05 · Odisha questions

    Common questions.

Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Odisha?

Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Odisha including Rourkela, Angul, Jharsuguda, Paradip, Bhubaneswar, Kalinganagar and Dhenkanal. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.

Which foam grade suits conditions in Odisha?

Hot and humid with a heavy monsoon, a long cyclone-exposed coastline, and among the highest industrial particulate loads in eastern India.

Does alumina or steel dust wear the foam out?

Yes, and it is worth knowing because it changes how you judge replacement. Most filters are replaced when they stop cleaning up properly, but highly abrasive dust like alumina physically wears the strands of the lattice. The test is mechanical: stretch a corner gently, and if strands crumble or shed, replace it regardless of how clean it looks after a wash. A shedding filter puts debris downstream, which is worse than no filter.
