Bengaluru is one of the few places in India where a finer grade genuinely makes sense: moderate ambient dust and equipment with fan headroom means 45-60 PPI is affordable, and for data centre cabinets 60 PPI is a reasonable choice. Belagavi's foundries are the opposite — 20-30 PPI, thick, for abrasion. Mangaluru wants polyether for coastal humidity.

Most Karnataka enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

Which foam grade suits a data centre or server rack in Bengaluru?
45 to 60 PPI is reasonable, which is finer than we would suggest almost anywhere else. Bengaluru's ambient dust is moderate and rack fans generally have static-pressure headroom, so you can afford the capture. Fit it on the intake side only — filtering an exhaust does nothing to stop dust entering, and a slightly positive internal pressure actively helps keep it out through gaps and cable entries.
