§ Supply · Chhattisgarh · Central India

    Foam filters for Chhattisgarh.

Die-cut reticulated foam, sheet stock and gaskets supplied to industry across Chhattisgarh — specified for what Chhattisgarh's plants are actually breathing, not from a catalogue.

    § 01 · Chhattisgarh

    What this state breathes.

Chhattisgarh's steel and power belt around Bhilai, Korba and Raigarh is, by dust load, the most demanding air filtration environment we supply into. The specification logic is simple and unusually one-sided: maximise dirt-holding volume, minimise restriction, and accept a short service interval.

Climate. Hot and dry for much of the year with a strong monsoon, and the defining factor is industrial rather than meteorological: the steel and power belt produces sustained particulate well above most of the country.

    § 02 · Local industry

    Who buys foam here.

    • Steel, Bhilai and RaigarhSinter, scale and coke dust at very high concentration on continuous intakes.
    • Power generation, KorbaCoal and ash — among the heaviest particulate environments in India.
    • Sponge iron and re-rolling, Raipur and RajnandgaonA dense cluster of smaller plants, each adding to the ambient load.
    • Cement and miningHigh local dust across the mineral belt.

Industrial centres served: Bhilai · Raipur · Korba · Raigarh · Durg · Rajnandgaon.

    § 03 · Specification

    What we'd recommend.

This is the coarsest specification we recommend anywhere: 20 PPI, the thickest section the housing accepts, staged with a second layer, and service intervals set in weeks rather than months. Going finer here is actively counterproductive — a 45 PPI element in the Korba or Bhilai belt will restrict before it has usefully filtered anything.

That is where we would start for steel, bhilai and raigarh, not a quote. Tell us the equipment, what it draws in and how often it will realistically be serviced, and the grade narrows quickly. Background: choosing a PPI and polyester against polyether.

    § 04 · How it is supplied

    Getting it to Bhilai.

Most Chhattisgarh enquiries arrive as one of two things: a die-cut element matched to a filter that already exists, or sheet stock for a converter cutting in-house. Both start from the same information — grade, thickness, and either a drawing, a DXF or the old part. Repeat orders then run against the same tooling.

We cut the foam ourselves at our own facility in Ghaziabad, which is why the recommendation above is a technical opinion rather than whatever happens to be in stock. Pricing is volume-based — see how foam is quoted.

    § 05 · Chhattisgarh questions

    Common questions.

Do you supply reticulated foam filters in Chhattisgarh?

Yes — die-cut filter elements, gaskets and sheet stock, supplied to industry across Chhattisgarh including Bhilai, Raipur, Korba, Raigarh, Durg and Rajnandgaon. Manufacturing is at our own facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and orders ship to you directly. Grades run from 20 to 80 PPI and thickness from 5 mm upwards, cut to your drawing, DXF or a sample of the element you want matched.

Which foam grade suits conditions in Chhattisgarh?

Hot and dry for much of the year with a strong monsoon, and the defining factor is industrial rather than meteorological: the steel and power belt produces sustained particulate well above most of the country.

Why recommend the coarsest grade for Chhattisgarh rather than the finest?

Because at this dust load, fineness stops buying you filtration and starts buying you downtime. A 45 PPI element near Korba or Bhilai will load to restriction long before it has protected much — you get a starved fan, a shorter interval, and no real gain in capture. A 20 PPI element in a thick, staged section holds far more dirt at far lower pressure drop, and washes clean. Volume beats fineness whenever the load is this heavy.
